Pallid swift (Apus pallidus)

This paller cousin is less abundant than the Common Swift, although Cáceres boasts one of the biggests populations in Extremadura and probably in Spain. The old part of the city, with several towers and walls accesible to visitors, is perhaps one of the best places in the country to watch them in flight.
